COMPLETED: Fall 2016

OVERVIEW: The kitchen in this 1940's building needed an upgrade to improve usable counter space, to add a much need dishwasher, and to lighten and brighten the food prep area, as well as the adjacent dining nook.

Water and gas piping locations were strictly locked in place, limiting the planning options. A plaster archway was removed to open up the kitchen to the dining nook. Relocating the refrigerator freed up counter space, as did using a more compact range and sink. Quartz counters and terrazzo tile flooring help the space look sleeker and larger.
