Vintage NYC Apartment Reborn

OVERVIEW: Located in a c. 1904 building on Riverside Drive, this vintage apartment was gut renovated while maintaining its Old New York elegance and detail. The layout was gently revised to make for a more open flow of space. Plaster moldings were re-cast from original profiles, vestigial piping from long-gone gas lights were removed and the floors completely reconstructed and resurfaced, and new millwork was designed for contemporary functions but with details that complement the vintage ambience.
